The Pleasant Mountain Race Team is the operating arm of the Shawnee Peak Alpine Educational Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit alpine education program that provides training and racing opportunities with professional coaches for alpine skiers of all levels from ages 6-20. (Note we run separately from both Pleasant Mt. Ski Area and the Pleasant Mt. Race Dept.)

We offer quality alpine ski training opportunities in a traditional family mountain setting. As a USSA-affiliated program, we provide competition opportunities and training at the most elite level of the sport such as FIS and USSA events. Our 40-day training calendar typically starts the weekend after Thanksgiving, and ends in late March, early April. Our goal is to bring a rigorous but balanced approach to alpine ski racing.
